- The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality is providing $200,000 in grants for e-waste projects via its Electronic Waste Grants Program. The grants are funded through statewide sales of computers.
- The grants will be used to support proposals for the following types of projects: collection, transportation or processing; local or state recycling and demanufacturing; innovative recycling, donation, remanufacturing or disposal.
- Private industries, cities and counties, non-profits, regional and solid waste management boards, associations and state or local government that operate in the state of Arkansas can all apply to receive a portion of the funds.
