Axion fabricates railroad ties and building products from recycled materials. According to Axion, there has been an increased demand for the company’s products, and output at the Waco facility has been amplified in order to keep up with the increase in business. The Waco plant now operates all day, everyday, according to Axion.
Only days ago, Axion announced it inked an $8 million deal with New Zealand's largest railroad operator to supply the operator with railroad ties for the next three years.
