- Molson Coors Brewing Co., headquartered in Denver and Montreal, in its Our Beer Print 2015 Corporate Responsibility Report, says it made progress last year toward its 2020 targets of zero waste to landfill, 25% energy reduction and 15% reduction in both carbon and water intensity.
- The company set a goal in 2014 to reduce energy use by 3.4%; it met 26% of the 2020 energy reduction numbers. Planning to drop packaging weight by 4% from 2012 to 2015, it lowered it by 21% against that target.
- As for zero waste to landfill by 2020, the company reduced the waste generated per pint of beer produced by 11.5% last year, and all operations will be landfill-free by 2020. The company has achieved 22% of targeted water reductions. As for greenhouse gas reduction, it achieved 53% of targeted reductions.

The company developed its sustainability strategy in response to the environmental issues found to be most material to its business, Waste 360 reported.

Coors is making great strides toward its 2020 goals and has shown leadership in managing energy, carbon emissions, water, wastewater and solid waste.
