- PepsiCo. announced that it would be continuing its partnership with the Institute for Veterans and Military Families in support of the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EVB) program.
- The soft-drink corporation has aligned its beverage container recycling program with the entrepreneurship of veterans. Every bottle recycled via PepsiCo Recycling will facilitate business training opportunities for those who served the country.
- Since 2010, more than 4.4 million pounds of bottles and cans were collected in support of the recycling program, and the efforts have yielded $1.5 million in EBV donations from PepsiCo.

The program equips veterans with tools to launch and expand their own businesses. Since the program began in Syracuse, NY as a small outreach service, it has flourished to include eight universities nationwide, where veterans have graduated with new skills.
Since PepsiCo joined the EBV program, 925 veterans have received training and support. PepsiCo plans to allocate $500,000 in funding for the program over the next three years.
