- Stericycle announced results from its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2014. Revenue for the medical waste management and hazardous waste disposal firm increased by 19.2%, to $676.9 million, in the fourth quarter, compared with $567.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2013.
- Net income for the fourth quarter ending climbed 5.6% to $82.5 million, compared with $78.2 million for the same time frame in 2013. Net earnings also increased, expanding 4.8% to $326.5 million.
- Net earnings for the fiscal 2014 year grew by 4.8% to hit $326.5 million, compared to $311.4 million within the same period in 2013. Revenue also increased, up 19.3% to $2.56 billion from $2.14 billion for the same timeframe in 2013.

Despite the contrast between fourth-quarter results in 2013 and 2014, the difference between 2014's third and fourth quarters was minimal. While revenue in 2014's fourth quarter was greater, up to $676.9 million from $667.9 million in the third quarter, net income fell an insignificant amount, from $82.8 million in Q3 to $82.5 million in Q4.
