- Brooks will specialize in leading new technology and product development for the Eugene, OR-based company.

Brooks previously held management and new product development positions in the aerospace, automotive, and industrial industry. Brooks said, “My goal is to yield technology that is relevant and impactful to the industry, striving to create the building blocks to maximize the value from our material streams as we work toward zero waste.”
In April, BHS opened a $35 million MRF in Montgomery, AL. The facility is capable of handling 30 tons of recyclables on an hourly basis, and can separate organic waste for composting. It expects to divert 80% of waste from landfills.
