- The Green Patriots student sustainability group's project was to recycle the most amount of trash it could during the men's basketball game against George Washington.
- The group not only encouraged fans to recycle their own waste, but to find and dispose of recyclables throughout the sports facility after the game ended. 65 volunteers also spent hours sorting the materials.
