ProTek Recycling, an electronics recycler for businesses, has partnered with BevMax Office Centers, an office management firm, to offer e-waste disposal to corporate offices in New York City.

As a result of this collaboration, tenants of BevMax will be encouraged to dispose of obsolete office electronics as a complimentary service.

E-waste collection services will be provided during regular pick-ups each quarter and on-demand.

ProTek will collect, separate and return materials to manufacturers. Any equipment that can be reused will be brought to the appropriate outlets. ProTek will process laptops, servers, monitors, phones, printers and more.
Former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg launched a "Recycle Everything" campaign in July, which, in addition to food waste and rigid plastics, included electronics. The mayor also implemented a curbside e-waste collection program in September, to ease residents into electronics recycling as a new state law regulating electronics disposal will take effect in 2015.
