Dive Brief:

• SENA Waste Services, a subsidiary of Suez Environnement North America, was awarded a contract with the city of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada. The contract is worth an estimated $45 million.
• The five-year contract calls for the company to oversee operations and maintenance at one of the first single-stream recycling facilities in North America, the Materials Recovery Facility at the Edmonton Management Center. 
• SENA has also won a separate contract to operate the Edmonton Composting facility.
