A contract to design and build a pneumatic collection system for household waste in Saint-Ouen, in the Seine-Saint-Denis region of France has been awarded to SITA and its partners.
In partnership with its fellow subsidiary of Suez Environnement (Paris: SEV, Brussels: SEVB), engineering consultancy SAFEGE, waste management technology supplier ROS ROCA, and BBJ architects, SITA was awarded the contract to build an underground pneumatic waste collection system in Saint-Ouen which will feature 143 collection points.
