Waste Industries Names Yorston Chief Operating Officer

Waste Industries USA Inc. has named Greg Yorston chief operating officer. Yorston will direct company operations across the southeast United States and manage all non-accounting processes and procedures for all Waste Industries branches, the Raleigh, N.C.-based company said in a news release. Yorston formerly was senior vice president of operations at Waste Industries. He worked closely in the past year with former chief operating officer Harry Habets, who retired Dec. 31.
