From the article:
Waste Management has about 165 drivers in Hillsborough County. The folks that man their dump trucks cover a lot of ground at a slow pace.
They know their neighborhoods. They know their community. And that's why they could be a huge asset for local law enforcement during the Republican National Convention.
In just a month and a half, thousands of people will flock to the area for the RNC, and security remains a major concern.
The FBI and local law enforcement are even training Waste Management drivers to be on the lookout for suspicious activity.
They were out at Waste Management early Tuesday morning conducting security seminars, with drivers becoming impromptu neighborhood watchmen during the convention.
