Olgiate Olona (VA), 6th July 2017 – SEBIGAS, specialized in the design and construction of biogas plants since 2008, has signed a repeat contract with the French client Fonroche Energie Renouvelable for the supply of two biogas plants located in the North and South of France.
Fonroche is market leader in the French renewables sector, providing clean energy solutions from solar (photovoltaic and solar thermal systems), biogas, geothermal and off-grid lighting systems to national and international customers. After the first contract awarded at the end of 2016 for the construction of a 1.8 MWe biogas plant located in Gramat, the French company decided to award Sebigas the supply of two other biogas plants.
Biogasconha, located in Bayonne and Biodeac located in Loudeac, will both be fed with blood, flotation greases, cattle pig and duck manure, fruit and vegetable leftovers, slaughter house leftovers and biogasconha will also be fed by corn and cereal leftovers. The plants will produce respectively 2,400 Nm3/h and 950 Nm3/h of biogas to be upgraded and then injected into the national grid as biomethane.
Sebigas General Manager Marco Bonvini declared: “We are very proud of this second awarded contract. Even before the start-up of the first plant, the client chose to award us once more, and this proves that we are flexible, experienced and reliable partners, rapidly aligning with the local sector policies, managing all the site procedures without any delay and efficiently coordinating with other suppliers to guarantee a valuable performing result. Our entrance in the French market has been decisive and successful and we are already looking towards other projects to start soon.”
SEBIGAS adds two new references to its portfolio that now includes 69 biogas plants for a total of over 65 MW of electrical power and continues to guarantee a 98.2% plant availability at maximum power. Biogasconha adds also another important record as the biggest biogas upgrading plant that Sebigas ever constructed until now .
