Skip Shapiro Enterprises, LLC, a nationwide provider of organic waste recycling and destruction solutions, continues to expand its reach across the food, beverage, and agricultural industries. Founded in 2007, the company has grown its network to more than 200 food and beverage processing facilities nationwide, supporting manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and processors with practical, compliant solutions for unsellable, expired, damaged, or recalled products.

What started as a company focused on processing empty beverage containers has since expanded to include food waste solutions, agricultural recycling, biochar solutions, beverage destruction, and other organic waste services. To date, Skip Shapiro Enterprises has destroyed and recycled over a billion full beverage containers, processed over 53,000 tons of food waste, and diverted over 10.1 million pounds of organic waste. 

The company’s expansion has been supported by a growing network of food and beverage processing facilities across the United States. Through these partnerships, Skip Shapiro Enterprises provides access to anaerobic digestion, composting, biochar production, food by-product processing, and other waste management solutions. The nationwide network also allows the company to identify processing options closer to where waste is generated, helping reduce transportation distances and associated environmental impacts. 

Supporting the Nation’s Largest Food Waste-to-Energy Facility 

Skip Shapiro Enterprises’ involvement in the Linden Renewable Energy Project demonstrates how industry partnerships can advance the beneficial reuse of organic waste. Once operational, the project is set to become the nation’s largest food waste-to-energy facility, processing up to 1,475 tons of organic waste per day to produce renewable natural gas and soil amendments. 

Skip Shapiro Enterprises is part of a network of industry leaders that will supply feedstock to the facility, with a contract allowing it to contribute up to 300 tons of organic waste per day. The collaboration reflects the company’s broader efforts to connect organic waste generators with large-scale processing solutions that keep valuable materials out of landfills.

In June 2026, Skip Shapiro Enterprises launched BeverageDestruction.com, a website dedicated to the compliant disposal and recovery of beverage products. The website is tailored to the unique needs of companies across the beverage industry, addressing requirements associated with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage destruction and recycling, ethanol recovery, and other specialized waste streams. 

With this website launch, Skip Shapiro Enterprises reinforces its commitment to providing effective waste management solutions for the food and beverage sector.
