North Mankato, MN September 24, 2026 — LJP Waste Solutions is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new De-Pack Processing Facility, located at 2160 Ringhofer Drive, North Mankato, Minnesota.
The company will host a public open house on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided facility tours, and a light catered lunch.
The new de-pack building represents a significant investment in LJP's processing infrastructure and expands the company's capacity to serve municipal, commercial, and industrial customers across southern Minnesota and beyond. De-packaging technology allows organic materials to be efficiently separated from their packaging, diverting both streams from landfill and directing them toward productive reuse — a critical step in modern integrated waste management.
The grand opening event is open to customers, community members, elected officials, and media. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new facility, meet the LJP team, and learn more about the de-packaging process and its environmental and economic benefits.
