Dive Insight:
Florida-based Waste Pro is one of the industry’s largest private companies, and it has been picking up the pace of acquisitions in recent years as part of the company’s goal to reach $2 billion in revenue in the coming years. Waste Pro says 2025 revenue is on track to reach about $1.4 billion, up from its estimated $1.3 billion reported in 2024.

The company’s 2025 purchases included Acadiana Landfill, ACE Waste Systems, ACE Enterprises, American Waste Disposal, Express Waste, Gasline Road Landfill, JWC Environmental, Lauderdale County Landfill, Highway 11 Landfill, K&S Sanitation, Lott Road Landfill, Mitchell’s Disposal, Parish Disposal, R&F Waste, RC Stokes, Recycling Partners, Residential Garbage Services, Tiller’s Garbage Service and Whites Creek Transfer Station.

Waste Pro plans to expand services under a new contract in Orange County, Florida, by the end of the year. It also renewed a contract in Manatee County, Florida, that will have some services changes. Those two contracts, along with one in Sarasota County, Florida, account for $520 million in initial terms and will service about 223,000 customers, Waste Pro said.
