- Emterra Group is entering into an agreement with U.S. Gain, to construct and operate the largest compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in Ontario, Canada.
- U.S. Gain is a subsidiary of U.S. Venture, a transport products company located in Appleton, WI, while Emterra is a hauler based in Burlington, Ontario.
- Emterra plans to use the station, Gain Clean Fuel, to fuel its fleet of sanitation trucks.
Emterra plans to convert its entire fleet to CNG, and the station in Ontario will help accomplish that goal. The hauler will initially have 120 of its trucks filling up on site. Emterra expects to have an additional 80 trucks fueling at the station by the end of 2015. Once completed, the station will be open to service other companies trucks that run on CNG.
