- Between August 28 and 31, the predicted worst part of Tropical Storm Isaac in southern Louisiana, Waste Management will put curbside collection on hold for many areas around Baton Rouge.
- Waste Management said employees are currently working on pre-storm preparations including reviewing local plans, re-establishing contact with emergency authorities and inspecting and re-stocking their hurricane preparedness equipment and supplies.
- After the storm passes, Waste Management will resume curbside garbage and trash collection on the passable streets and expand as more streets are cleared.
