- With the demolition of the Metrodome in Minneapolis finished, those involved in the project said the goal set to recycle 80% of the debris from the site will be achieved.
- The concrete rubble will be crushed, and the seats sold or scrapped; the metal will be melted and transformed into new products.
- The Metrodome was demolished to open the property for a new stadium, scheduled to be complete in July of 2016.
